Serpent Keeper // Full Moon Incense Burner #1

Hand-sculpted, Full moon incense burner with serpent detail on the dish.

• Made to burn incense cones - as the cone burns down the incense burners get hot so they need to be placed on a heat proof surface •

Hand-built using porcelain.
Hand carved and sculpted details, highlighted with 22k gold luster, and high-fired to 1280°c •
The high temperatures cause the clay to almost self-glaze, creating a smooth, satin-like- finish. 
Clear glaze on dish and inside of moon for easy cleaning.

Moon - 5.5x5.5cm base - 6cm height
Dish - 10x10cm - 2.5cm depth
