Beetle and Serpent Planter

Made by hand with dark porcelain.

• Hand-made 13oz (Approx.) Mug with hand-sculpted beetle and carved serpent details, highlighted with white to create an antiqued and dusty effect, clear glaze inside and high-fired to 1260°c and finished with 22k gold luster •

The high temperatures cause the clay to almost self-glaze, creating a smooth, satin-like- finish.

All of my work is hand-built so imperfections to the surface may occur. Personally, I feel this adds to the unique nature of each piece.
